Refund & Cancellation Policy

Digital Energy LLC — RPC API Services

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and billing adjustments work for Digital Energy LLC's subscription RPC API services.

1. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account in the developer portal, or by emailing frank@digital-energy.io from your account email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your API access, plan allowances, and portal features remain fully available through that date. No further charges will occur after cancellation takes effect.

2. Refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, including for partial months, unused request allowances, or early cancellation. Because the Services are metered infrastructure made available continuously upon payment, consumed or available service time cannot be returned.

We will issue a full or prorated refund in the following cases:

  • Billing errors. Duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, or charges that do not match your subscribed plan will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
  • Service not provisioned. If you are charged and we fail to provision your API access within a reasonable period, you may request a full refund instead of provisioning.
  • Legal requirements. Where applicable consumer protection law requires a refund, we will comply.

To request a refund under this section, email frank@digital-energy.io within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the invoice or charge reference. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

3. Plan Changes

Upgrades take effect immediately; the price difference is prorated for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period; no partial refund is issued for the current period.

4. Overage Charges

Where your plan provides for metered overage billing, overage charges reflect usage already consumed and are non-refundable, except in the case of a metering error verified by our logs, in which case the incorrect portion will be credited or refunded.

5. Account Termination for Cause

If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service (including abuse, unlawful use, or attempts to circumvent metering or security), fees already paid are non-refundable.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at frank@digital-energy.io — most billing issues are resolved within one business day. Initiating a payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
