This Privacy Policy describes how Digital Energy LLC ("Digital Energy," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our RPC API services, developer portal, and website at rpc.digital-energy.io (the "Services").
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and organization details you choose to provide.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. We receive limited billing metadata (such as plan, invoice status, and the last four digits of a card) necessary to administer your subscription.
Usage and log data. To operate, secure, and meter the Services, we automatically collect API request metadata, including timestamps, request methods, response codes, request volume, IP addresses, and API key identifiers. We do not use the content of your API requests for any purpose other than providing, securing, and troubleshooting the Services.
Communications. If you contact support, we retain the correspondence.
Cookies. The portal uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We use the information described above to: provide, meter, and bill for the Services; authenticate access and secure our infrastructure against abuse; respond to support requests; send transactional emails (such as receipts, usage alerts, and security notices); comply with legal obligations; and improve the reliability and performance of the Services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer data for advertising.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Services, including: payment processing, transactional email delivery, cloud database and hosting providers, content delivery and DDoS protection, and secrets management. These providers process data on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Digital Energy or others. If Digital Energy is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We retain account information for the life of your account and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes thereafter. API request logs are retained for a limited operational window for security, billing verification, and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, hashed and peppered credential storage, access controls, and managed secrets storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may access and update your account information through the portal. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by emailing frank@digital-energy.io; we will honor such requests subject to our legal retention obligations. Depending on where you reside, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
The Services are operated from the United States and data is processed on infrastructure in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
The Services are intended for business and developer use and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or portal notice. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
